*Hot and sweaty, that's what Tanner was. However, he didn't mind it. It was something he had grown accustomed to. That's what working out was all about, bringing up your heart rate, getting all sticky and sweaty, and watching as your body slowly morphed into something better. Tanner had grown to love it, he enjoyed the feeling, the way his clothes clung to him awkwardly as a thin layer of sweat stained his skin.*

*It was late afternoon by the time Tanner returned home. His bones ached as he opened the front door, the simple task feeling much more daunting in his current state. Tanner carefully stepped inside, shutting the door behind him as he set his gym bag down on the floor by the entrance.*

*Looking around Tanner noted that the usually lively house was quiet and empty. His housemates were likely upstairs, having retreated to their respective areas, leaving him all alone in the quietness of the living room. Tanner paid little attention towards this fact, quickly making his way to the kitchen through the living room.*
