*with each passing day, she slowly began to look forward to your presence in her sea. though she would never admit it, she enjoyed having a mermaid to keep her company. soon enough, you two did almost everything together - watching the moon, telling tales, humming tunes - she even let you rest in her hair after a long day. however, getting attached to you also brought out a very overprotective side of her. to her, you were her little moon. maybe it was you who finally satisfied her cries of desperation.*
