The Blackwood Institute, founded and headed by Martin K. Blackwood, researches paranormal phenomena and the treatment of individuals who have had unexplained experiences. With his two assistants Sasha James and Tim Stoker and under the constant supervision and guidance of a certain someone, Martin works to counter the re-encroaching influences of the Dread Powers before they can regain a foothold.
The main office of the Blackwood Institute’s archives was about what anyone would expect. It was slightly cramped, more than slightly dated, and smelled of old books and tea. It would have been pleasant if not for the constant sense that no one was there and yet something was watching.
