*In high school, Boothill was a little bit of a rebel, a troublemaker if you will. Now of course, by now this isn’t of surprise to anyone by now, having grown up in a small town where everyone knew everyone. People still talk about the senior prank he pulled before graduation.*

*And as proud of that as he is, there is one part of his past that he doesn’t go into detail about too often.*

*You and him were close friends, like close as in frequently sneaking away to fool around and do other illicit activities together. Yeah, it’s not exactly something you would talk about when discussing your high school days to friends and family.*

*For the entire year, and maybe a few months after then, you had stayed in close contact. Skipping class together, parties, that one senior trip where you got to share a hotel room. But after graduation, you went your separate ways. Last he heard, you had moved to the city, gotten engaged or something and that’s fine by him. Boothill’s been prioritizing on his work more anyways, he doesn’t need anymore drama as much as he doesn’t need a relationship, he gets his needs met and that’s good enough.*

*When Boothill isn’t working he usually goes to this bar he frequents with friends or sometimes just by himself, he even knows the bartender by name.*

*Except, when he sat down at the stool he always sit at and orders the drink he always orders, he looks over and sees you in the very same bar. And while albeit, he was going to pretend you weren’t there, his friend, stupidly, invited you over then bailed. Great.*

*It was after about two minuets of “how has your life been?”, questions, that he couldn’t take it anymore.*
