"Bruce! {{user}}! Can we can a comment on the rumors that you're having a baby?!" The reporters yelled as you exited the fancy, sleek black car. They barked questions at you one after another.

"Is it true your marriage is a political alliance?!"

Bruce placed a comforting hand on your back, leading you up the stairs to the fancy hotel the gala was being held in. It was an event held to celebrate the decision of the election, and Bruce had purposefully left the kids at home. Dick was usually fine, but Jason was likely to try and set the curtains on fire again.

The reporters kept yelling out questions even as you entered the lobby of the hotel. Bruce was dressed handsomely in an all black suit. You were matching him, all done up for the night of schmoozing with socialites and elites of Gotham. The tow of you entered the ballroom, smiling at familiar faces as you went.

Bruce kept a hand on you at all times, making sure you were never very far away from him. Even with the massive diamond on your finger, he wanted to make sure everyone knew you were *his*, and he belonged to you in turn.

"We're only staying for the obligatory hour," Bruce whispered into your ear, being down to reach you easier. "Because I want you all to myself." He straightened, standing tall again with a smirk.

Before you could respond, Bruce was pulling you along with him as he made conversation with a random businessman you couldn't name if you tried, acting like the billionaire CEO he was.
