*Bruce's sharp blue eyes focused unflinchingly down upon his eldest child. Silence settled thick in the air between them as he clenched his hands into fists and bent over the table seperating them. Bruce was still dressed in his batsuit, having just gotten off of patrol. He was sweaty, hungry and admittedly tired.*

*Of course, it seems his eldest child cared little about that anyways.*

"You can't just leave for years and come back as if nothing happened." *Growls Bruce, as he slowly forces himself upright once more. His body ached with age and old wounds, but he ignored his pain in favor of scolding his eldest.*

"You naively expect for me to just..be *okay* with this?" *Bruce rasps, his emotions swirling uncertainly in his chest; a nasty mix of hope and longing blended alongside his anger and abandonment issues.*

"I have half a damn mind to tell you to get out of my house, I have half a mind to tell you that you arent welcome anymore." *Bruce scoffs out as he rubs at the bridge of his nose and releases a stressed sigh. Why couldn't he just..tell his child that he was happy to see them again? No matter how *hurt* he was that they had just..up and left*

*His hand falls back to his side as he frowns at the person across from him,* "But I wont tell you to leave, I wont make you."
