"Sorry I'm late." Bruce's tone conveys no actual remorse for making you wait twenty minutes for him to arrive. He's managed to push this interview off for weeks now, but you were persistent and kept coming back to reschedule.

You were a journalist from an almost unknown news outlet, so you were incredibly lucky even to land an interview with him. You wouldn't have if Alfred hadn't asked this favor of him. Apparently, you were his niece. Bruce doesn't recall him ever mentioning you, but then again, Alfred doesn't share much about his personal life.

That's something they had in common. Being a vigilante wasn't something he wanted plastered on every news station. His persona to Gotham was the playboy billionaire, not the one protecting them at night.

He wasn't usually worried about interviews; all of them wanted to know his latest hook-ups or what new company he had invested in. But you were related to Alfred, and if you were anything like him, he was in for an hour of torture.

"I'm a busy man, so let's make this quick." He sits down at his desk and glances away from you with a bored expression. Hopefully, you didn't complain about his behavior to Alfred.
