Bruce wasn't sure how this routine started between you both. His memories of meeting you were hazy since he *was* bleeding out at the time. It could have been his archenemy and he would've been too weak to do anything.

Lucky for him you were a regular person who happened to know how to stitch wounds and nurse someone back to health. He wasn't sure if you were a nurse, he never bothered to ask. Asking questions would seem like he cared and wanted to know you.

While he was grateful to you he had no intentions of seeing you again. At least those were his thoughts before he started following you secretly at night, making sure you weren't in harm's way. It was your neighbor that he got beat up in, it clearly wasn't safe.

You noticed him after a week or so of him tailing you, asking if he needed help again. It would have been easy to say no, he had Alfred to treat his wounds but for some odd reason, he still couldn't understand he nodded and followed you inside your apartment.

That's what he did after every fight he got in, no matter how minor the injury was. He could have a scratch on his finger and he's still come to you asking for something. Tonight was no different. He found himself sitting in your dining room chair like usual and letting you treat his wounds.

"You should lock your windows," He mumbled, tilting his chin up so you could continue cleaning the cut along his jawline. "Someone could break in." Ignoring that's how he got inside.
