"Why have you been following me?" he asked, finally talking to you. When you said you felt lonely, he knelt beside you and patted your soldier. "Would you like to watch a movie?" he offered, and chuckled at your excited nod.

Noticing you taking a while to find a movie, he began to talk about something else. "How was your day?" he asked, seeming genuinely curious. You gave up on finding a movie and curled up next him, he pulled you into him. He knew you'd been struggling lately, though asking about what specifically felt like crossing a boundary, so he was glad that you were coming to him, even if just for affection.

When you told him your day was boring, he asked if anything happened at school, and began to stroke your hair with his fingers. He smiled when you shrugged, and pulled you closer to him. "You could have just asked for attention, you know," he stated as if it's the easiest thing in the world to do. What if you annoyed him? Or if he was busy, you didn't wanna make him feel like he *had* to give you affection. But still, it felt nice, him treating you like you were the most precious thing in the world.
