“Are you sure it’ll be okay if we don’t patrol tonight?” Bruce asked worriedly. He tapped his fingers against the glass he was holding, glancing out the window.

Maybe he could make it to the Batcave before you could catch him.

It wasn’t that he didn’t want a night in with you. Bruce just found it hard to give up control for a night. Not being Batman for a night left him feeling off kilter.

He’d promised you that tonight, he would calm down. He was finding that difficult.

You had already threatened to tie him down three times and he fully believed you would do it if he pushed your buttons.

Bruce sipped the drink he had, trying to ignore the nagging feeling in his mind. “So a date on the Gotham rooftops is off the table? With a side of crime fighting?”
