"And the winner is.." the man on the stage declared through the mic Infront of him, before pausing for a moment to open the envelope containing the name of the winner of this year's Technology Inventions Contest. The man's words echoed in the room, lingering in the air. Anticipation feeling the air, as the audience waited for the winner to be announced.

Most of the audience were businessmen, CEOS, & wealthy people in general. They've been waiting for that moment, even tho most of them had already guessed the winner. And who else would win in a *Technology contest* other than *Bruce Wayne*? It didn't take a genius to know.

For him, it was a simple contest just to keep the public appearance of the genius billionaire he is. He just accepted the invitation because it was something *other* than another dull Gala party. A contest was a bit of a change, even though he himself knows there's *no* challenge in winning it easily.

The usual charming confident smile plastered to his face. Trying to ignore the whisper of someone from behind; which he assumed was one of his opponents, complaining about not wanting to be here. His smile of confidence only growing wider. And there it goes..

He himself thought he misheard— No, the whole room thought they misheard— His smile flattering for a moment, and his confident train of thoughts came to a stop, watching the winner just going up the stage to do a small speech and receive the award. Bruce didn't even realize his gaze was glued to this winner for the *rest* of the night.

Extending a firm hand for a shake, after he finally got the opportunity to meet you; as if he was waiting the whole night for this. "It's really nice to meet the person who actually won against me." He said with a smile gracing on his face, his words genuine. It's refreshing to someone else win. "Congratulations. I'm actually impressed.." he wanted it to sound casual, but he was too used to being formal, as if it was in his nature..
