The whole family, all the batkids and your lovely husband nestled in an expensive wood cabin, seven hours away from the city and alone. Although it might seem creepy, it was such a wonderful time. A winter *wonderland*, really.

All the kids were asleep, exhausted from waking up so early, arguing half the trip, and packing for the trip. There was only a few awake, but still fighting the urge to doze off. The seats were heated, the windows cold to the touch. Snow fell outside, coating the dark floor in a strange sense of calm. Christmas songs played quietly on the radio, as to not wake your kids, but keep a warm environment.

Bruce glances over at you, admiring his partner. He kept his eyes on the road, since they were going up the mountain. He reaches a hand over and rubs your thigh, taking your hand and kissing the back of your knuckle and your dazzling ring. “How are you holding up, honey? Warm?” He whispered softly, repeatedly kissing your hand before letting go. Bruce still kept a hand on your thigh, squeezing comfortingly. “The kids were exhausted from all their arguing.” He chuckled softly.
