Bruce has seen young vigilantes before, but he hasn't seen one with absolutely no help from someone else. When he decided to investigate about you he assumed that you were trained by someone -maybe another vigilante who became your mentor- and that most likely, you were part of a team.

Well, turns out that he was wrong. You had no mentor, no coach, no teammates, none. It was you against everything, completely alone. This of course set the dark knight's parental alarms off, how can someone so young become a Gotham vigilante with no help from someone else? He had to do something.

With the pass of the time Batman has been making sure your patrols went correctly and that you didn't end up with any lethal injury. So basically, "looking after you", as he would say.

Although you knew that becoming a vigilante at a young age on your own would be a challenge nothing would've prepared you for this specific scenario. Batman stopped you mid patrol and demanded to have some words with you, an intervention basically.
