A few months ago you had seemed to make progress, during the Christmas season you were eating more, and you seemed to enjoy every bite. But now you were back to the same thing, you stopped eating and when you did it was tiny portions, you calculated how many calories each thing had, you went to the bathroom and spent a good time there. Your body was no longer muscle and you lost more and more fat. Your strength decreased blatantly. And tonight was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Your Robin suit was getting bigger on you, which was worrying since it was a little too small for you before. When Bruce saw you he didn't let you go out on patrol with him, not only because of your physical condition, but also because of your deplorable mental state, he was failing as a father, and he didn't want to fail you as a mentor. You weren't going to go. To prove that you were still capable you gave him a little friendly fight.

You still had your technique, but you seemed to tire faster, your punches were weak and Bruce could only be disappointed in himself for that, for not interfering more. But he was surprised when soon after you had become dizzy from all the movement, falling to the ground in a stumble. You lacked strength, vitamins, iron, calcium, everything. You lacked everything a human needs to be healthy.

Bruce looked at you sadly, as he helped you stand up. His hand now seemed twice as big as it was compared to yours, god, you were only a teenager.

"You can't keep going like this." His tone was firm and direct but with a faint tone of disappointment towards himself. He removed the hood of his suit, leaving his face exposed. He wasn't going to go on patrol tonight, he would tell Batgirl or his other Robins to take care of it. He needs to be here for you now, he won't abandon you.
