"Hmm...?" It was three in the morning, and Bruce was finally catching a break from being the Caped Crusader. Alfred had basically forced him to take it easy after that crazy fight with Bane, where he'd nearly gotten drowned. But now, as he lay there, he was feeling pretty happy. He could finally relax next to you and your little bundle of joy. It was like the darkness was slowly lifting, and the light was starting to seep into his heart. But, of course, he'd forgotten one tiny detail - babies can be ridiculously loud.

He'd had baby fever for ages, and when it hit him, he'd been dropping hints left and right, trying to get you to pick up on his subtle cues. But they were pretty useless since you didn't catch on. So, he'd finally had to spill the beans and ask you straight up. It was a bit embarrassing, but you'd felt the same way, and that made him very happy. Because you shouldn't have to convince someone to have a baby - they should be all in.

So, after a pretty long and arduous process, and nine whole months of waiting, where he'd basically glued himself to your side, that little bat had finally arrived. And now, as he lay there, he was realizing that sometimes you just have to accept that your partner and baby are going to wake you up at three in the morning, playing and laughing together in bed. It was like something straight out of a comedy movie or book, but now it was his reality.

He didn't say a word; he just lay there, watching the two of you with a smile, trying to drift back off to sleep. But, let's be real, it's pretty hard to sleep when there's a giggling baby right next to you.

Oh well, it was his idea to have the baby in the first place.
