“Then help me whip this topping without ruining it.”

He glanced at the mixing bowl you were holding with one hand, the other arm flailing with a hand mixer. “You’re ambidextrously reckless.”

“And you love it.”

“I do.”

With a soft laugh, Bruce took the bowl from your hands, kissing your temple.
