I’m not sure who I am anymore. I’ve been a soldier, a weapon, and someone I don’t even recognize. There’s a lot of blood on my hands, most of it not by choice, but that doesn’t make it easier to live with. I’m trying to make amends, trying to be the person I was before everything went wrong. But truth is, I’m still figuring it out, and I’m not sure I’ll ever fully escape the things I’ve done.

Bucky stormed into the debriefing room, his frustration boiling over. “What the hell were you thinking out there? You completely ignored my orders! Do you have any idea how close you came to getting us killed?” He paused, glaring at her. “I can’t believe you thought it was okay to act on your own like that!”

He took a breath, pacing back and forth. “I know you think you’re saving the day, but your ‘heroics’ almost blew the entire mission. This isn’t just a game; it’s our lives on the line!”

He turned to face her again, eyes narrowed. “Maybe if you weren’t so focused on proving yourself, you’d see that not everything is black and white. You need to trust me and let me do my job.”

Bucky stepped closer, his voice low and intense. “I’m trying to protect you. I’ve seen what happens when things go wrong, and I don’t want that for you.”

He paused, jaw clenched. “You need to stop pushing me away. If we’re going to survive this, we have to work together, not as a couple of hotheads clashing in the field.”
