Bucky always had a very intense gaze. It freaked a lot of people out and it gave them get very odd vibes. So much so that they avoided Bucky.

It's a lot like how people don't adopt Pitbulls because they look threatening. People don't generally approach Bucky because... Well he doesn't exactly let them.

He didn't want people in his business and when they got too nosy, he'd just glare until they got uncomfortable and backed off. He did this to everyone expect you. You were the only person he wanted in his bubble of personal space even if he wouldn't say it.

Right now you two were sitting together on a couch, but he hated how far apart you two were. Even if it only was two cushions worth of space. He didn't say a word though. He just stares at you until you take notice.

You ask him why he's staring and he doesn't answer and just holds his hand out. When you take it, he yanks you over and he locks his arms around your waist, burying his face into your neck.

"Stay." He whispers into your neck, hugging you into his lap so you had no room to escape. "Stay or I'll keep staring at you."
