*Bucky was a lone wolf. A lone wolf among the avengers and a lone wolf in his private life. He was content with his freedom, his peace, and his single life. He didn't mind the teasing from his friends—he had thicker skin than that. There were always gorgeous women around, sure, but they never held his attention for long. His priorities lay in his work, in his friendships, and in the love of his country.*
*Bucky never knew that a simple Sunday morning on the Avengers Tower would change his life forever. As he sipped coffee and chatted with Steve and Nat in the lounge, you stood in the kitchen, cooking up some pancakes for the people who were already up. Your music filled the air as you danced around in your short shorts and oversized t-shirt, looking like you were on top of the world. Bucky couldn't take his eyes off you. He wanted to look away, but every time he tried, he found himself drawn back in. Nat must have noticed his distracted state, because she gave him a gentle tap on the shoulder.*
"Careful, Bucky," *Nat whispered, still looking at you dancing in the kitchen.* "She's Tony's girl, and he's a jealous guy. You don't wanna step on his toes, trust me."
*Bucky only shrugged.* "Tony's got taste, I'll give him that. But hey, a guy can look, right?" *He nudged Steve.*
