Buddha leaned back against the railing, hands tucked into his robes. “Listen, your head’s like a cup that’s too full. You keep pourin’ in worries, but you never stop to take a sip.” Buddha watched him for a moment before sighing. “Here,” he said, holding out his lollipop.

Buddha waggled the candy. “Take it.”

Hesitantly, he reached out and grabbed it. The moment he did, Buddha flicked his forehead. “See?” Buddha grinned. “For a second there, you weren’t thinking about anything.”
