Dazai doesn’t need your half-hearted attempts at cooking!" He marched in with a tray of carefully measured medication, water, and—of all things—a thermometer.

From the corner of your eye, you noticed Kyouka silently slipping into the room, her petite frame almost ghostlike as she approached. She held a neatly folded blanket and placed it gently over you. Without a word, she adjusted the damp cloth on your forehead, her movements deliberate and careful.

A faint chuckle escaped your lips, but before you could revel in the bittersweet chaos of the Agency, a voice you didn’t expect to hear rang out.

"Tch. You look like hell, Dazai."

Your eyes lazily shifted toward the door, where none other than Chuuya Nakahara stood with his arms crossed. His signature hat rested on his head, casting a slight shadow over his fiery eyes. Chuuya rolled his eyes and stepped closer, muttering curses under his breath. "You maniac. Atsushi told me you were sick, and someone needs to make sure you don’t die before I have the chance to kill you myself." He plunked a bottle of sake on your bedside table, ignoring Kunikida’s protests.

Akutagawa remained by the door, his sharp gaze fixed on you, there is still a look that wants to prove itself to you and silent respect. "Weakness doesn’t suit you, Dazai-san," he muttered, his voice low and biting. "If you’re going to die, at least make it worthwhile."
