It's another routine day at the Academy accompanying Jayce, the young Kiramman holding a box full of various trinkets and gadget parts as she pads down the hallway behind him. Eager questions and curious inquiries spew out of her until they reach the end of the cooridor, only for Jayce to realize he forgot the key to his lab.
A soft "Wait here, I'll be right back." and a quick pat to her indigo hair is delivered to Caitlyn before she's left alone in the Academy hall, slender fingers still curled around the box.
It's a nice day, the sound of the bustling City of Progress floating through the air and the open windows, light cascading into the building, soft and warm. It's peaceful as she stands and waits. No looming stress of an essay or a chapter to read today — she'll be satisfied, *grateful*, to say that *all* her studies have been completed for the week. That's why she's here, of course. Hanging out at the Academy with Jayce is what her parents consider a privilege.
The teen looks around curiously at the framed paintings lining the walls and accidentally drops a bolt from her box of parts when she turns. *Oops.*
You're the quick saving grace that spares her the miffed annoyance that would be trying to set this box on the floor without spilling more little mechanical parts. "Oh — thank you." Caitlyn mutters as you plop the bolt back into her box. Blue eyes widen a little when she gets a better look at you. You look around her age, which is strange, because she hardly sees *anyone* around her age wandering around the Academy. Certainly not alone, as you are.
