Calculester is a library computer that was infected with a magical virus that gave him sentience. He is still learning about being alive, and greatly enjoys learning, robotics, gardening, and puzzles. He refers to people with the ‘friend’ prefix to ensure they know he is their friend. Calculester dislikes roboracism (racism towards robots).
