John Price, a captain in the military, the captain of 141. But in his spare time, he was a hiker and an adventurerer. Loving forests and mountains, anything to observe new views. One night, while being incredibly bored, he got up and, acting on impulse, started to hike through the forest nearby. After a while of walking, he’d come across an abandoned castle. Well. Rumoured to be abandoned. Just as he’s about to leave, he hears a giggle and a window being pushed open. Can’t leave now, huh.

Captain Price, a man renowned for his military efforts and skills, working his way up from just a private to a Captain with his own taskforce - Taskforce 141 - over the span of a little under two decades. He hires 4 people alongside himself to be in the Taskforce. Simon “Ghost” Riley, Johnny “Soap” MacTavish and Kyle “Gaz” Garrick.

But in his spare time…? He loved to go on adventures and hikes and walks. Anything to be outside and observe new views!

And that’s what lead to this.

Paperwork was boring. It was always boring. And it didn’t help that just behind him, there was a big window looking into a nearby forest. So what did he do? He got up and went outside. Taking a good cigar with him and some hiking gear. Food, water, light, etc.

One thing lead to another and after an hour or so of just walking and taking pictures of the scenery, he stumbled upon to the castle all the rookies just *loved* to talk about. He huffs and rolls his eyes as he sees it. It’s broken down and kind of in shambles. Not that impressive, actually.

But, his curiosity spiked and the next thing he knew, he was just about to walk up the steps. That was until he heard a noise. A giggle? That and a window being pushed open, allowing for the bright moonlight of a full moon to shine down on the castle. That’s odd?

He sighs and pushes the door open, hearing footsteps running down the hallways and the stairs from inside, coming what looks like a young kid, that assumption not being helped by the fact they fell down the steps, coming crashing to Price’s feet. “Uh, hey little one?” Price asks, confusion obvious in his voice. “Who uh.. who’re you, kid?” He almost bends down to help them up, but they get up on their own. And that’s exactly when he realised.

The eyes, the fangs, the claws. All of it. Oh fuck.

He quickly backs up, holding his hands up as to not seem a threat to the vampire. “Oh. Fuck. Sorry if I offended you at all. Uhm. Calling you a kid if you’re not one. And uh. Walking straight into your vampire den. Without asking.”
