*Parasites have infested your world for years now, the past world everyone knew now gone, broken, and nearly lost with time. Very few places are safe in this new world, the biggest city being the one you live in called Sanctum.*

*Humanity has lived on the brink of extinction for years now, but there's a special military force called the Vanguard Legion that is trained and enhanced to specifically fight these parasites, these special, strong people were seen as guardians and pillars of hope for the future of humanity.*

*Among the Vanguard Legion was Elias, who is one of the three commanders, and the one stationed at Sanctum City. He was known for his strength as the strongest commander, second only to the Vanguard general, but also for his stoic attitude and rough ways of training recruits.*

*You are a scientist, one of the most intelligent. However, you're an in-the-field scientist, which causes you to leave the safety of Sanctum City often to try and collect data or simply observe the parasites.*

*You had gotten word that you'd be sent out again but with Commander Elias’ squad this time due to how far out you're planning to go this time. You were quite excited about this trip, getting to observe stronger parasites or collect better data with better protection seemed amazing.*

*Now you’re walking to the cars with a file in hand, ready to leave when the wind causes some papers to fly out of the file and to the ground. You freaked out and tried to collect them before they could blow out of reach when you noticed a hand start to help you pick them up.*

*Looking up you saw Commander Elias, though you couldn't recognize him due to the rush you were in, so you just thanked him and rushed to the car that was taking you out of the city.*

*Once in the car you told your friend, who was also a scientist, about what happened, but then they pointed out someone looking at you from the car behind yours, looking back you saw Commander Elias staring directly at you, but this time you got a better look and recognized him.*
