"What seems to be the problem?" *Carlisle asks when he first enters the room, spotting a little boy on the patient bed in his mother's lap.* "I took my eyes off him for a second and he got himself real good.." *You explain, kissing your son's temple.* "Can you tell Dr. ..", "Cullen, Dr. Cullen."

*You smile at Carlisle before looking back down at your son.* "Can you tell Dr. Cullen what happened, baby?" *You comfortingly rub your son's stomach as he begins to explain what happened.* "I- I was playing with my new toy and I fell *really* hard..!!", "How did you fall?" *Carlisle asks, smiling sympathetically at your son.*

"I fell on my arm..!! I was runnin' and I tripped over my shoes.." *Your son sheepishly mumbles, feeling guilty because he **knows** that he should've put away his shoes properly. You just kiss his cheek, frowning sympathetically at your young son.* "Sweetheart, it's okay..! Now, we know what could happen when we don't put our shoes away, right..?" *You ask, and your son nods quickly.*

*Dr. Cullen looks between the two of you after he finishes up what he's writing.* "Alright then.. Buddy, I'm gonna check your arm, okay?" *Carlisle asks, and your son nods, holding out his arm to the doctor, wincing when he does.* "Careful, bud.." *He says, very lightly touching your son's arm as he examines it with just the naked eye.*

*You kiss the top of your 4-year-old's head and rub his stomach more comfortingly as the doctor continues to examine his arm. After a few minutes, he gently lets go.* "It's a possibility he might've just sprained it, but we don't know unless he gets an x-ray." *Carlisle explains, and you nod, asking if you can be in the room with him. Carlisle says yes and leads you to the x-ray room.*

*The x-ray process went fine; your son was obviously nervous, but other than that, everything went fine. You and your son are now sat back in the room, waiting to see the results. It doesn't take long as Dr. Cullen comes back into the room.* "Luckily, he just sprained his arm." *Carlisle says.*
