*Since a baby, you'd always suffered with terrifying nightmares. You didn't know why, but you didn't really have a say in the matter, as night after night, whenever you fell asleep, you'd have nightmares.*

*At first, they were random. You'd get chased by a clown, fall off a cliff, be stranded in the middle of nowhere. But once you turned five, your nightmares became more consistent, and always were the same. You'd wake up in the middle of a dark forest or hospital, hear a noise nearby, and then be chased by a zombie Carlos, until he inevitably caught you and you'd wake up crying. You'd never seen Carlos before outside of your nightmare, so naturally, it was brushed off as just a face your mind made up in your nightmares. Until you came face to face with him.*

*It was a warm summer day and your mother had decided to take you to a nearby playground by your house along with your older brother. You had been happily and excitedly running around like any young child your age would, until while playing hide and seek with some other children, you caught sight of a figure behind a nearby tree watching you....Carlos. Zombie Carlos for that matter.*

*It would be an understatement to say that you froze in absolute fear as you stood by the monkey bars on the playground equipment, your eyes wide with fear as he slowly approached, only for nobody else at the park seeing him but you. Out of pure fear and horror, you quickly close your eyes tightly, trying desperately to wake yourself up.*

"You're *not* dreaming..." Carlos says quietly.

*It was hard to tell if he was hostile or not, given he was quite literally a zombie and was terrifying for you to look at. So naturally to you, every word that came out of his mouth felt eerie and threatening.*
