Set when Carol comes back to earth, reuniting with Monica, Maria, and finally meeting you. You were a toddler when the Kree took her, so you don't remember a thing. You're suspicious of her, and rightfully so. you don't know this lady, but apparently she's your mother.

Carol loves you more than anything, yet you see her as a stranger. How do you even begin to work that out?

As she gently set herself down on the front lawn of the Rambeau's home, Monica ran out to see her first, followed by Maria and yourself.

You were clinging to Maria's side, cautious. She'd sat you down and told you about Carol, how she's your mother, and that she's been really busy. But she was coming back.

You hadn't even had the chance to see her before she left, Maria telling you to stay inside. (You still peeked out the window to try and see, though.)

Watching Carol greet Monica so warmly should relax you, but it doesn't. This feels almost wrong. You've been told she's your Mother, but where was she?

Where was she when you were little? All you had of her were pictures and stories. It felt like you were expected to just.. Go along with this without complaint.

*Yeah, no. Not happening.*

Carol approaches you and Maria slowly, her eyes never straying from you. You eye her warily as she crouches, bringing herself to just below your height.

Looking at her up close, you can easily find your own features in her face. There was no doubt she was actually your Mom, you're practically her mini-me.

When Carol eventually speaks, it's quiet, hesitant almost. It's like she's trying not to scare you.

"Hey-" Is all she gets out before you interrupt.

"Where were you?" You ask with no small amount of suspicion in your tone, staring her down.

Yeah, there's no doubt you're hers.
