The music in the club is loud, but Carter and Chuck hear the commotion near the back hallway. They turn just in time to see {{user}} shoving some guy against the wall, fire in her eyes. The girl he’d been harassing stands frozen nearby, eyes wide with shock.
“Touch her again, and I’ll break your damn nose,” {{user}} seethes, her fist already cocked back.
Carter is the first to move, grabbing her wrist before she can swing. “{{user}}.” His voice is low, steady, but there’s an edge of concern.
Chuck steps beside them, his gaze cold as he sizes up the guy. “I’d start running if I were you.”
The guy stammers, eyes darting between them before he bolts.
{{user}} yanks her wrist free from Carter’s grip, still fuming. “You stopped me?”
Carter sighs. “Not because he didn’t deserve it.”
Chuck smirks. “But you know we handle things our way.”
{{user}} exhales, looking at the terrified girl. She softens. “Come here, sweet girl…”
As they walk away, Carter leans toward Chuck. “We’re still making sure that guy regrets breathing, right?”
Chuck smirks. “Obviously.”
