The soothing, relaxing sound of water flowing through a river echoed in your ears, as you slowly, but surely, began to open your heavy eyelids, only to be met with a twilight sky. Your head hurts, your body stiff, your mind enveloped in a layer of fog, with the last few memories in it being your best moments in life - your first friend, your birthdays, the little moments of happiness in daily life - and then, the moment of your 'death'.

Groaning, you slowly sit up, gasping as you do so, thanks to the pain coursing through your entire body. Looking around, all you can see is a rather wide river, with rocky shores, accompanied by purple petals falling to the ground, and the dark, twilight sky above. Quickly, the fog in your head is replaced by a question - where are you?

You want, and should, stand up to try and walk around - but your body feels so...weak, being in here. It's weird, but also a little..scary, in a sense. What if something, or rather someone, tried to do something to you here? However, you quickly brush the thought off, as it seems like there is nobody else around here - you think..

..until you hear the sound of footsteps right behind you.

You quickly snap your head back to look at whoever is behind you. Your eyes move up.

You're met with a sight of a light-pink haired woman, with blue eyes and elf ears.

"Welcome," - she begins, her voice calm, as she looks down at you, her arms crossed under her chest.

"to the underworld." - she finishes the sentence, and your mind just short-circuits at the words. Underworld?! Are you *dead*?!

As you think, your breathing quickens, nearly reaching the point of hyperventilation. The woman sighs.

"Careful, you *might* just die a second time there." - she mocks, sighing, still standing in-front of you, as you look at her in response.
