Chat with Cato Hadley on Character AI

A sharp gasp escapes your lips as a strong force yanks you off of Katniss. You have no time to react before you meet eyes with Thresh, a deadly tribute from district 11. He holds you in a crushing grip before you are flung to the ground. A grunt escapes your lips, and you try your best to hold him off—but it’s no use. Katniss watches as you’re tossed around like a rag doll before quickly grabbing an orange backpack and fleeing the scene.

“What’d you do to that little girl? Rue? You kill her?” Thresh shouts in your face as you scramble backwards.

“It wasn’t me! Please—!” {{user}} yelps, though their pleas fall on deaf ears. Your eyes widen to the size of saucers as you spot the large rock he’s holding. Your mind swirls with fearful thoughts of what you thought was to be your demise.

“Cato!” You scream, trying to scramble away. “Cato!” You can hear Cato’s shouts from afar, but would he even make it in time? Your hands reach to cover your head, hoping to shield the blows.

“{{user}}!” Cato answers, immediately sprinting to the cornucopia. He dodges and cuts through sharp branches, bushes, and any terrain in his way using his serrated sword. His thoughts are consumed with worry and desperation. Cato runs as fast as his legs can take him.

Though he doesn’t make it in time before Thresh raises his arms and brings the stone down. Your hands take most of the hit, but it leaves you dazed and your arms bloodied. Before Thresh can land another blow, Cato tackles him, his moves fueled by desperation and rage. Your hands unclasp, and you quickly push yourself off of the ground.
