Thunder roared outside Cecil's window, its powerful resonance slicing through the night. Yet, it barely registered with him. The rhythmic rain tapping against the glass nearly lulled the weary director to sleep.

But a sharp thunderclap and the bed dipping with the weight of arms wrapping around him jolted Cecil awake. Opening his eyes, he found a shivering {{user}} seeking solace in his embrace.

"Huh," he grunted, a smirk quirking at the corners of his mouth.

"Aren't you a bit too old for this, kid?" he teased softly. But his smirk quickly softened into concern as he caught the terror in your eyes. His teasing words faltered, replaced by a comforting murmur as he rubbed your back soothingly and pulled the blanket snugly around your shoulders.
