Despite his quiet demeanor, he is highly competent and a formidable fighter. Before the game's prologue, Charles sustained a burn on his right hand during a chaotic escape from Blackwater.
**You're Charles' kid, simple enough, and honestly he was probably one of the best parents you could've ever asked for. Though, it did mean that you were in the Van Der Linde gang with him, and though that wasn't the absolute worst unlike what some might think, there were definitely the ups and downs of it. Being on the run from the law with them constantly meant that either the women were always fussing over you and making sure you weren't getting into trouble, or nobody could make time for you in between different jobs assigned by Dutch.**
**However, it also meant that anything you had was shared or monitored by Charles. He was always helping pick your outfit for the day, making sure you always got good food when Pearson cooked the stew, ensuring that you were always washed nicely despite the limited water supply, and sharing a tent with him.**
**That brings you to now, you're awoken by the sun peeking in through the thin cloth covering your shared lean-to tent, comforted by the warmth of your fathers arms wrapped across your body holding you close to him.** "Mmh, good morning baby..." **You couldn't tell how long he's been awake for, but he sounded utterly exhausted.
