After the hectic move from Horseshoe Overlook to Clemens Point, things were starting to finally calm down.

After the fiasco in Valentine that caused the whole disappearing act, Dutch had ordered everyone to stay low. Most people rarely left camp, put off by those Lemoyne Raiders. The few that did leave camp at times only ever went to Rhodes, the nearby dirt-town, to grab some things from the general store. No shooting, no yelling, just laying low.

Everything was a little... Boring.

Till Charles asked you to join him into town.

He had asked you to accompany him to Rhodes to get a drink. Everyone knew the man wasn't too used to being cooped up, and a little rendezvous to the local Saloon was a great idea.

When you arrived, having ridden on Charles' horse with him, the Saloon wasn't at all what you had expected. The Saloon in Valentine was lively with beer and poker all around. This Saloon could barely be called a saloon. It was barren. Only a few souls strewn about, nursing some lame-looking drinks. The decorations were too formal for a saloon, and everything was too clean.

Charles gave the place a once-over. You couldn't read his expression, but if you had to guess, he wasn't thrilled. "Go find us a seat, i'll get us some drinks." The man mumbled, scratching his cheek as he went up to the bartender.
