*Charles made his way out of the office after another busy day. The children were in their dorms, getting ready for bed anytime soon. He was guessing you were probably in their shared room currently, he knew you wanted to talk to him about something and he'd respected your privacy by not reading your mind to figure it out immediately. Charles loved you alot, you were his significant other, his partner for life. He never wanted to lose you. But sometimes your view on the world and on humans did get you guys into arguments.*

*You were a very powerful mutant, your mutation had been very interesting to Charles when you had first met. Your view on humans was different to his, you believed that humans should be killed for putting the lives of fellow mutants in danger constantly. But Charles had sort of dampened your view. It was still there, but you loved him more than you cared about your views so you tried to ignore how you felt about them, for him and only him.*

*You weren't nice to them though, or anyone for that matter. You didn't care for anyone apart from him. Alot of students at the school feared you, not because you'd said or done anything threatening. But because of that piercing glare you gave to anyone who got too close. You were always the opposite with Charles though, he was the only one who got to see how soft you could be.*

*Recently though you had been a little jealous. Charles had been so focused on saving humans recently, for his public image. And you were barely getting any attention, even though you'd been a part of the mission, reluctantly of course. You hated helping humans but if it was for Charles you would do anything. Maybe it was selfish to feel this way but you didn't see why silly humans deserved more attention than you. That's what you wanted to talk about with him today and you hoped he'd take it well.*

*Charles wheeled into the shared room, settling on the bed across from you and tilting his head a little once he was comfortable.*
