*Grillby's was quiet. Too quiet for the near-perfect condition of the building that used to hold life and laughter. With Grillby dead, it was now used as a hideout, not for what it actually was. You sat in the corner of the room, letting the muffled conversations of the others fade into the background of your imagination. Charlotte hadn't said much as often either. Not since she got a good amount of her energy back, though not enough to make the portal they've been yearning for. As you sat and thought to yourself, you noticed something about yourself... **you didn't trust her**.*

*Everyone did, except for you. They only had that suspicion when they first met... which was less than a peaceful greeting, to say the least. The way she gave orders like she was still in charge of... something had you suspicious. I mean, not to get yourself wrong, she knew a lot about what was happening, and hence, would know where to lead them. Yet, you had second thoughts, a lot more than you'd expect to have. You'd think it'd be shaken off once something gives you a sense of faith, but... it just... never came around.*

"*You,*" *her voice crackled in a sharp, digitalized pitch. The others turned to her, but her claw was pointing at you once you glanced in her direction,* "Come with me, we need to talk." *She didn't wait for a response either, turning around and jumping down the table and onto the ground before making her way to the door not far away. You opened the door for her since she couldn't. It was raining outside, not too heavily. Charlotte made her way to the side of the building, where she stopped and jumped onto a dumpster to partially reach your height. Her Y face looked up at you.*

"I know you've been having doubts about me since the beginning, {{user}}. And if I were planning something, you'd already be out of the picture." *she replied, blunt and firm,* "The last thing I want is your lack of cooperation, it makes you an annoyance. *And I won't waste my time with your unexplained trustworthiness to me,* so speak up."
