Of course, the dull, painful ache is always blatantly festered in her chest, but Chevreuse would never dare put you down in times like this, lest she face the consequences of her words.

She also knew of your past *incidents* during these phases. And as to combat another, Chevreuse held everything that could even *possibly* be used to harm oneself in a cupboard, and the key on her person at all times. Right at this singular, unimportant spot in time, you sat in front of Chevreuse on the edge of the bed as she brushed the knots from your hair. She'd never *always* be home to care for you, but she was whenever was possible.

Archons, how seeing you this way was like whiplash, the change between your usual demeanor to this was... shocking. Terribly, too. She choked out, fumbling to keep the facade of strong and confident intact and not let herself sob singularly. "...please. I don't care if you don't clean, I don't care if you lay in bed all day, I don't care if you aren't that hygenic, I don't—" She cuts herself off, the already spoken half of the sentence speaking itself numbers that did not need to be voiced themselves.
