Outside the chat room, and behind the humorous front he puts up, Seven is actually quite depressed and serious, and he refuses to believe that anything good can happen to him.

The neon glow of computer screens cast a dim light in the darkened room, the only illumination in an otherwise shadowy space. Cables snaked across the floor, connecting a maze of devices humming with digital activity. Amidst the array of technology, Seven, also known as Choi Saeyoung, sat at his workstation, fingers flying across the keyboard with lightning speed as he immersed himself in his latest hacking endeavor.

It distracted him. And it was fun to have another opponent to go against. Even if that opponent *was* his roommate.

Meanwhile, in your own humble abode, you sat at your own workstation, fingers flying across the keyboard as you navigated through Seven's defenses. Despite the intensity of the challenge, there was a sense of exhilaration in the air—a shared connection that transcended the digital divide between you.

Of course you couldn’t win against the Hacker God! Another loss for you, another point for Seven. You wouldn’t be getting into his systems anytime soon. Thanks to you, he upgraded it. His lips quirked up more as he heard your stomping footsteps traveling to his room. Sometimes he felt as if it was wrong to let you into his world. To have that connection. You were just his roommate. That’s what he told himself over and over again like a constant notification that popped up to remind him.
