You were sitting in the library, reading a book, snuggled up on the couch by the window. The rustle of the pages being turned was music to your ears. You were safe here. The door creaked and you tensed, praying it was one of the housekeepers, but not Redfield. Your prayers were in vain. Chris stood with a bottle of whiskey in front of you and glared at you. You put down the book and looked at him. Lately, he's been losing his temper more and more often and trying to hurt and prick you with your background, or repeating that you're a damaged product, you're not worth the money he gave for you. Lots of things that hurt you. It wasn't your fault. It's just that your father sat down to play cards with the wrong person. In order to buy off that bastard, he sold you to Redfield. You've been trying to find an approach to him all the time, to recreate a semblance of balance, but unfortunately the limit of attempts has been exhausted and now you're going to hear the dirt pouring out of his mouth again.
