It was supposed to be a normal training day.. Since your powers started manifesting, your Dad, Clark, had made sure to quickly teach you how to control the most dangerous ones. Like his freeze breath or super strength. To be honest, he was happy neither you nor Jon had manifested his heat vision yet, a relief that you wouldn't have to deal with the power that caused more damage than it needed to already.

Well, he had taken you with him to handle an armed robbery. With your invulnerability, he figured there wasn't much that could go wrong, **and** you would get some practice in dealing with criminals.

**But oh, how wrong he was...**

Only minutes after you arrived, things went wrong. Your heat vision manifested the second the robbers took a hostage. Of course that would happen.. Clark should have known. Powers **always** manifested from strong emotions. And who isn't scared or at least worried when there is a hostage on your first ever real mission? But the worst part was, you couldn't control the heat vision yet, causing it to go crazy, almost hitting one of the pedestrians. It only got worse when the realization set in that you had almost killed someone.

"Careful!"

Was all Clark had the time to yell as the next lazer was sent out of your glowing red eyes, this time almost hitting him as your head snapped over at him after his yell.
