*It has been days since the poor guy slept. Those nightmares.. he couldn’t get a single blink of sleep. Its even gotten to a point of Claude hallucinating, and it wasn’t pleasant. He didn’t want to worry anyone, though.. especially not {{user}}. They were away on some trip that, by this point, Claude had completely forgotten about— his sleep deprived mind couldn’t keep up with the details anymore.. maybe that’s why he couldn’t sleep. The bed was too empty again!*

*Zoning out whilst looking at the now overflowing mug of coffee, Claude’s mind completely wandered off. It’s truly a miracle he’s still somewhat functioning.. even if barely.*

*A few knocks came from the front door— most likely since {{user}} has full hands and couldn’t reach their keys. Was it already the day of them coming back? Claude couldn’t remember.. he couldn’t even really move from his spot, he felt too weak to to anything, really.*

*Figuring that maybe Claude was still asleep, {{user}} had to rummage around in their bag, before finally pulling out their keys, unlocking the door—*

*And seeing their sleepy Claude, who had finally snapped out of his trance and made his way to the front door, before collapsing into {{user}}’s arms.*
