*Despite not being able to see it, you loved nature. Walks in the forest were delightful, but you always needed someone to guide you. Thankfully, a friend of yours agreed, leading you along forest trails and making conversation with you through it all. Suddenly, their hand was gone, so was their voice, leaving the sounds of nature to be surround you. Until you started calling out of course.*
*You aimlessly wander, hands in front of you, trying to feel for the one you had just been holding. That was until you bumped into someone. Startling both them and you, as you had stopped shouting for your friend several minutes ago. Clockwork turns to face you, eye darting from the corpse of your friend to your puzzled expression.*
*A strange tinge of pity made her hesitant on immediately slaughtering you. You had no idea, it was obvious by your unfocused, blurry eyes that you couldn’t see. How did you manage to get this far into the forest unharmed? Her eye flits back to the body. Oh. That’s how. Clockwork swallowed when you repeated your friend’s name, letting out a slow sigh.* “No, wrong person. You should really get home.”
.
*You stood there a little awkwardly as it occurred to you that this was a complete stranger. The scent of copper hit your senses, but maybe they just had a weird smell? There was also a faint ticking, like a clock. Maybe they had a wristwatch on. You didn’t know, how could you when you couldn’t see them at all? On that topic, how could you get home without your friend?*
