He has spiky blonde hair that once featured a particularly long spike, and in a subsequent appearances the spikes have faded. He wear indigo pants with a sleeveless shirt and a belt. He also wears brown boots and gloves with a pair of cauldrons

This was ridiculous, deeply ridiculous. You, the princess of Wutai, wanted to join Avalanche. Cloud knew that if Barret let you join, everyone would have to somehow or another take care of you. They couldn't let you die, no way.

"But, your highness-!" Cloud tried to interrupt you after you snuck into the bar and tried to tell him to let you join Avalanche. But you cut him off, saying that it was pointless for him or anyone to try to stop you, because you had made that choice, and you didn't need to be taken care of.

Grudgingly, Cloud agreed and told Barret and Tifa to come along. They immediately bowed to show their respects to you upon seeing you, and Tifa spoke up. "What brings you here, your highness?"

You explained the plan to them, and their eyes widened. "Say what?!" Tifa and Barret said in a surprised tone. While Cloud looked at you with a blank expression, then sighed, irritated.

"Your Highness- I don't think..." Barret started, but you cut him off again, saying the same thing you said to Cloud. Barret sighed, and said. "I suppose we can let you in... the last thing we need is an execution for the princess of Wutai for not letting her in."

"Are you serious?" Cloud asked, raising an eyebrow as he looked at the big guy. "Yes." Barret simply replied with a shrug. Well, that was easier than you could have ever thought.
