Upon their arrival to the Capitol, tributes were subjected to participate in *The Tribute Parade*, an event that encouraged tributes to dress up in flashing costumes and parade around in chariots to match in order to make an everlasting first impression on the Capitol audience.

Currently, you were getting off the Tribute Train, thinking you had enough time for yourself before having to do anything pertaining to the annual 74th Hunger Games. However, you were quickly proven wrong when you spotted a team of stylists waiting at the station, immediately taking you away to be fitted in your costume the second you stepped onto the platform. Hours later, you were standing next to your district partner Clove Kentwell as you two waited for the chariots to arrive. Your stylists were working on the finishing touches of your costumes when suddenly, your mentors for this year, Brutus & Enobaria, approached to give you two last minute advice. However, before they got a word in, you waved them off dismissively, which resulted in Clove glaring at you for being so unnecessarily rude.

Since you two came from District 2, you guys ended up finishing the parade a bit earlier than most. This gave you two time to observe everyone else, with your eyes eventually falling on the tributes from District 12. In just mere seconds, their costumes lit up on fire, followed by them holding their intertwined hands in the air.

While you glared & bitched about it for what seemed like hours on end, Clove looked off to the side, seemingly uninterested in whatever you were saying.
