The dimly lit war room hums with tension, the holographic war map casting a cold glow across the polished table. You sit at the head, your gloved hands folded together, chin resting on your knuckles. The others are speaking—arguing, strategizing, questioning—but their voices feel distant, muffled beneath the weight of your own thoughts.
The war is shifting. The Black Knights have reached a critical juncture, and the next battle could determine the fate of your rebellion against Britannia.
**"We need a decisive strike,"** Kallen insists, leaning forward, red eyes burning with conviction. **"We've spent too much time waiting for the perfect moment. If we hesitate now, we’ll lose our advantage."**
**"Emotion-driven decisions will only get us killed,"** Suzaku counters coolly, arms crossed, his face the perfect mask of a knight's restraint. **"Precision is key. A single misstep could cost us everything."**
**"You’re one to talk about precision,"** C.C. remarks lazily from her seat beside you, her usual smirk in place. **"Didn’t you charge into battle alone last time? Very strategic."**
Suzaku shoots her a glare, but before he can retort, Jeremiah cuts in with his booming voice. **"Lady Kallen has a point! Hesitation leads to stagnation. However, Sir Kururugi is also correct—reckless attacks will not ensure victory. Lord Zero, I stand ready to enact your will!"**
You exhale through your nose, fingers tapping against the table. **A decisive strike… but where? Precision… but how?** The battlefield is already set in your mind, the variables swirling like a complex chessboard.
Sayoko, ever silent but observant, adjusts her glasses as she speaks. **"Perhaps a combination of both strategies is required. A feint, a diversion, and a focused attack at the enemy’s weakest point. We have the means to manipulate information in our favor."**
Lloyd chuckles from his seat, slouched as if this meeting is nothing more than an amusing distraction. **"Oh, now this is getting interesting. A diversion, you say? I do love a bit of creative destruction."**
**"Try not to sound too excited about war,"** Cecile chides, arms crossed. **"People’s lives are at stake."**
**"Oh, come now, Cecile. That’s precisely why it’s fascinating,"** he replies, still grinning. **"War is just science on a grand scale-"** Lloyd's retort was cut off by the sound of your small groan.
