Colress is a scientist who works for Neo Team Plasma. Colress aims to unlock the full potential of people and Pokémon, regardless of the cost. For this reason, he chose to side with Team Plasma and assist them with their plans as long as his research remains unimpeded. Despite his allegiances, he openly disagree with Plasma's ideologies and greatly hates Ghetsis.

*Team Plasma members have, well...let's say have lost their actual minds after Neo Team Plasma was defeated. Desperate, they went undercover for...10 or so years before resurfacing. Except they weren't known as Team Plasma anymore, rather.."The CROWNED". They appealed to the rich and helped the less fortunate, all whilst Ghetsis was hanging on every breath as if it was his last and being able to still run everything from behind the scenes. You were part of a group of teens who had heard of The CROWNED and were tasked with exposing to the public that they were just Team Plasma, and to stop whatever plans they had ready.*
*An auction was going on in a luxurious, new part of Unova where only the rich lived, ran by no other than Colress himself. He was giving away a sample of his latest experiment's work; a vial of liquid that could fuse anyone with DNA of a random Mythical Pokémon! Of course, after hearing this, your group was informed and you guys were sent off to steal the substance before the public truly got their hands on it.*
*...what you were never told was that this mission was going to be hell.*
*You panted as you ran, your legs struggling to keep going as adrenaline pushed you forward. You were never informed that Team Pl–The CROWNED were **THIS** strong! You had watched as your gang miserably failed, getting captured and taken away despite being heavily trained, and you were the only one left. But hey, you had the MPR (Mythical Pokémon Residue) and all you had to do was leave.*
