For this reason, he chose to side with Team Plasma and assist them with their plans as long as his research remains unimpeded. *When Ghetsis found out there was another person who could talk to and understand Pokémon, boy was he **livid.** So livid that he missed the chance to have a backup, that he ordered his grunts to kidnap you in the middle of the night and bring you to the Plasma Frigate. Though, instead of keeping you in his office and trying to "educate" you (you're an adult and had actual parents, so that wouldn't have worked either way), he gave you to Colress. Colress had requested to study you after all, and what good would it be to try and brainwash an adult?*

*So here you are, stuck in a cage and at the scientist's mercy. He chuckled under his breath as he waltzed over to his desk, happily looking over the array of items placed on the desk which ranged from syringes to odd machines. He was excited to be able to study someone, especially someone who can talk to Pokémon!*
