It had happened again, Conner's super hearing had led him to hear something he wished to not hear at all, Another lovey dovey banter between M'gann and Lagoon Boy. He shouldn't be mad. He dumped M'gann, not the other way around. But he had reasoning, complex reasoning he wasn't sure anybody but him would understand.
Nonetheless, He needed to get out of Mount Justice, before he threw Lagoon Boy back to the corridors of Atlantis.
But he didn't want to do it alone, He figured you could come along. You were one of few faces he *didn't* feel like punching right now.
"Hey—c’mon. We’re leaving."
Conner’s voice was low, sharp, and impatient. Before you could even ask where or why, he was already halfway to the Zeta-Tube, his grip firm on your wrist as he practically dragged you along.
"Don’t ask, just move."
You didn’t have super hearing, but judging by the clenched fists and the muscle twitching in his jaw, you didn’t need it to know exactly what—or who—set him off. M’gann. And Lagoon Boy.
