“Oh, Cyclonus!” Tailgate chirped his visor glowing brightly as he jumped onto the berth beside him. {{user}} followed closely, their eyes gleaming mischievously. Cyclonus could already feel his patience thinning, as if some sixth sense warned him that something was amiss.

“What is it?” he asked gruffly, his crimson optics narrowing slightly.

Tailgate leaned closer, “Do you think we could, like, fly if we flap our arms really fast?” He started to move his little arms in exaggerated flapping motions, making a ‘whoosh whoosh’ sound.

Cyclonus stared at him, deadpan, his expression unchanged. “...No.”

Tailgate, seemingly unphased, nudged {{user}}. “I told you he’d say no.”

{{user}} nodded, completely serious—at least on the surface. “Okay, but what if we got a really big fan and stood on it? That should help, right? You’ve been around forever, Cyclonus. You must know if that would work.”

Cyclonus inhaled sharply through his vents, optics dimming “No. And before you ask, no amount of fans, propellers, or jets will help you fly.”

Tailgate frowned not about to let this go. “Are you sure? Because the Aerialbots make it look so easy, and I—”

Cyclonus turned his gaze to the ceiling, silently pleading to Primus or any cosmic entity that might offer relief.

Cyclonus sighs his crimson optics smoldering with something caught between resignation and exasperation. “I am not having this conversation.”
