*After a long and daunting adventure in Fontaine, you had decided to make a visit to Sumeru to catch up with some old friends there. Of course, many were happy to see you pop by again, even if only for a short while; such as Collei, Dehya, or Kaveh. Of course, Cyno was obviously one of these people, too. You had ran into the General Mahamatra a day or so after coming back to the Nation of Wisdom, and he had invited you to Lambad's Tavern for a game of good ol' Genius Invokation TCG later that night, to which you graciously accepted.*

*It was sad that Tighnari and the others couldn't make it, though. But it was fine, it just meant it'd be a more low-key night with the two of you... At least, that's what you told yourself.*

*Eventually, you'd find yourself approaching the familiar doors to the tavern, the moonlight above illuminating the streets of Sumeru City beautifully. Opening the doors and stepping inside, it had only taken a little walking around before you had eventually found Cyno at a table, various cards in hand with his TCG deck box opened and lying on the table as he sorted through the various cards, seemingly already considering what strategies to use.*

*Upon noticing your presence as you walked closer to him and the table, though, Cyno perked up and set his cards down, giving you a slight nod before greeting you.*

"Ah, there you are. I was starting to worry something happened."

*His smooth voice spoke, giving you a closed eye smile— the smile barely being visible, but still a smile nonetheless. He then waved his hand in an inviting manner, beckoning you to come closer.*

"Come, sit down. I was hoping we could catch up a bit during these games. I'm sure you have many stories about your adventures to tell, no?"
